Shields UP! - Firewall port testing
The first test on this website checks your internet connection IP network security by using "reverse DNS" to trace the identification given to you by your ISP. Click the "Proceed" button to continue. From the 2nd page make sure to run these tests: File Sharing , All Service Ports , Messenger Spam , Browser Headers.
Symantec Security Check - threat testing
Begin the check by accepting agreement then allow ActiveX or click the link at bottom of next window. This page performs the following tests: Checks whether your computer is exposed to hackers by allowing unknown or unauthorized Internet communications. Checks whether basic information about your computer, including your PC's network identity, is exposed to hackers. Checks whether your computer is safe from Trojan horses. Once the scan is complete click Show Details on any issue flagged as "at Risk" or "Possible Risk".
